I heard that

the Blue,Red Route Bus and the Rebel Ride bus started service from last semester.

As this aspect, Iam very lucky exchange student!

If there are no shuttle buses in here, I can't imagine how boring I am.

My roomate and I go to the Walmart very often.

Actually, it is very big pleasure for us.

Twice a week.

I really expect these times.

Make a list, search in the Internet for a good brand,

and then go to the Walmart by the Blue Route Bus.

One day, we went to there twice a day.

At the second time to ride this bus,

we were very afraid about that

the bus driver thought that those girls were so boring and had nothing to do.

At that time, that's true.

Anyway, every bus drivers are so kind.

If we didn't reach the bus stop 'till on time,

he was waiting for us.

When this bus brings us to the Walmart, we are starting so happy.

We spend very long time in there to look around some items.

The most attractive section is , of course, cosmetic section.

Usually, it takes about 30minutes-1hour to window-shop.

The next section that we look around is the cereal's one.

When I came here, one of the surprised things is a cereal's kind.

In my country, there are just famous kinds of Kellogg and Post.

However, there are lots kind of brands and items.

I wanna bring these special cereals to my home.

After shopping, sometimes I missed the shuttle bus to go to dorm,

so I had to beckon my friends.

The first time that I missed the bus, I tried to call taxi.

What a stupid thought!

Maybe the taxi fee was more expensive than the shopping price.

ZOO

Last weekend, we spent Good Friday! I think almost student went to somewhere to celebrate this holiday such as some leisure places or church. I also went to Memphis with my Korean friends. Actually, I have one friend who lives in Memphis. She invited us to her house to spent this weekend.

First day, we just ate some Korean food, that name is Galbi, because we arrived in her house very late.

Second day, we went to Memphis zoo! Oh, my god. It's been a long time to went to there! We had a lot of fun there. It was really shiny and sunny and there were really many animals including polar bears, snakes, frogs, giraffes, pandas, and so on. In fact, in Korean zoo,almost animals doesn't like to move. They just lie in their seat and stare sightseers so I had to see their very passive poses. However, animals in Memphis zoo were very powerful and funny. When we saw the panda,that was from China, it slided down from slide using his stomach. It was soooo funny and cute. Everyone around there was surprised. Giraffe even evacuated excrement. Their dung looked like a small ball. Something like baseball was dropped from giraffe's heap. I thought they already knew what activities could be get people's affection. In the kind of cave, we saw many kinds of snakes, frogs, and turtles. Some turtles were so old. Their age was about 200. In Asia,turtles and cranes mean long life. That was true! If I move slowly like turtles, could I live longer just like them? I hope so. Actually, polar bears didn't do anything. They just slept on the ground, but that pose was so lovely!!♥o♥ We all really expected to see them. We walked a lot to see them! Finally, we found them, they slept well. However, it didn't matter. Even sleeping pose was so cute and lovely! What a sweet white fur! kkkkk

I think zoo is always the best attraction to visit.

After touring the zoo, we shopped. As you may know, there is no place to shop in Oxford so I was so glad to stop by Memphis's mall. However, I just look around there and bought just two items because my friend and
I will go to the NewYork City at the end of this semester and shop at there so I decided to save money for it! I'm not sure that it will work well.

Then we went to 152 and came back to house about 3a.m.

It was really tough day, but fun! I will never forget this day!

Today, I went to the gym! It's my third time to go there. Actually, when I was in Korea, I've never gone to a gym. I really hated to exercise, but my body was not flexible so I just wanna learn yoga someday. However, I had to attend the university and it took a lot of time of my daily life so it was totally impossible to learn yoga.

Then when I heard that the Turner center had a yoga program, I was really happy and decided to took that class every day!!!! and I've never kept that vow, for it was too hard to go there when it was chilly outside.

Now! summer is coming! Flowers are blooming, grasses are becoming real green and I am becoming a exercising person!

Yoga class is very very useful for me. Today, I felt that my belly muscle was broken in the middle of the class, but I couldn't stop my pose because I was fat-bellied. I don't wanna potbellyㅜoㅜ After the class, I joged aroung the campus. Maybe, it was my first campus tour. There were many beautiful flowers,squarrels, and birds around the campus. I felt freshness and liveness! I was living! at that time. I didn't know that exercising made me really happy. That's why almost Olemiss people like doing exercise. Coming back to the room, I cleaned my room and did laundry!

Now, I am not a yesterday's me! Iam a new!

White Day♡

As you may know, February 14th is a 'the Valentine Day'. This day is also in Korea and Korea has another special day, too. That name is a 'the White Day'!, that date is March 14th. Today is a March 12th in here and March 13th in Korea because Korea is ahead about 14hours of here. Then tomorrow is 'the White Day' in Korea!

Actually, when 'the Valentine Day' is coming, couples give candy or chocolate each other in America. However, in Korea, that customs are kind of different from here.

'the Valentine Day' is the day that girl declares her love for him with chocolate and 'the White Day' is the opposite day to 'the Valentine Day'. At the 'the White Day', boy presents girls with candy! In fact, 'the White Day' is only in Korea, Japan and Taiwan(but, I'm not sure...). One bakery company in Japan made 'the Valentine day' first to sell their company's chocolate and this event brought success, they also create 'the White Day' to sell their candy. Whatever reasons, I like those very very romantic days!!!
When I was a child, I always wondered that 'Why should girls receive candy?' because I like chocolate more than candy! and there were some competitions like that who is the one get much chocolate or candy. Some girls spend their whole pocket money to buy chocolates at 'the Valentine Day' to spread it to the classmates. It was a kind of tips to receive a lot of candy at 'the White Day' because the period difference between these two days is about 1month.

Anyway, I hope Ayoung should get very big candy from her boy friend the day after tomorrow!

Chicago Pizzzzzza!

I think every international students are missing their country's traditional food now. Of course, neither do I! However, I also like American style food! such as spaghetti, pizza, all kinds of bread, and so on. My roomate and I usually make our dinner ourselves. All kinds of spaghetti are always taken the menu including olive oil and tomato spaghetti.

One day, we just wanted to eat some special pizza so searched about that in the internet. Finally, we found great pizza! That was a 'Giordano Pizza' in Chigago!

As you may know, Chicago is very famous as an morden architecture city and this city also have many kinds of delicious pizza. 'Giordano Pizza' is one of the popular pizza in Chicago. You could see very long line in the front of the door and imagine How that pizza is delicious!

It has very thick dough and there are many kinds of ingredients in that dough. Normally, thick dough's pizza is very oliy, but you don't worry about that when you eat Giordano's one! Giordano's pizza is really plain, but you can also feel deep flavor. Oh, I am so hungry now because of this post.

Actually, I will go to the Chicago in spring break through the IEP program so I really expect to eat it! Every night, before going to the bed, I count the remained days. Probably Iam in the U.S.A. for eating 'Giordano Pizza'. That is my life's reason now!>_<

Exciting!

African Student Day!

A few days ago, there were very exciting African student's concert in Olemiss! Actually, I had to prepare my test that day so my roomate and I were not sure whether we would go there or not. For thought about that, we just spent about 30minutes! After very serious thought, we decided to go there!

The concert was really really great for me! First of all, there was a performance that was consist of African traditional dance and some performance with instruments. That dance looked very traditional and funny. After that performance, some audiences could learn it and dance together. When they danced together, one guy waved his heap very aggressively so it was very funny! Second of all, two African student sang a vocal music each other. In fact, it was my first time to see African singer just in front of me. Therefore, that guy and woman looked just dolls for me. It's very marvelous experience. Third of all, certain music group played their special intruments. That sounds was very miraculous just like 'the little Mermaid's O.S.T. If those songs were made to some tape or CD, I should buy it! Finally, one African student sang a popular song. Proobably, the singer came from Jamaica because the word 'Jamaica' was printed on he's cloth, but I'm not sure about that!

Actually, when I watched that, I felt I was in America. I really appreciate the person who opened this concert!

A Memorable Event in My Life

I have arrived here 1month ago. Now I am very happy and have a comportable life here, but coming here was hard to me. Before departing to come here, I had lost my permission of the University. To be precise, if I didn't have it, I could not be admitted into America. Then I tried to find it again and again,, but failed. After all, I had to ride to the flight without my permission. During the flight time, I couldn't sleep well and kept concerning about it. After a while, I arrived at ' the Houston Airport', that is my first American airport, so I had to be given the test of admittance in the airport. I was inspected by one officer of the airport. In the middle of the test, the officer notified me that I didn't have permission for entering the America so I was taken to the Secondary Inspection Room. There, I spent about 2hours taking detailed test with many cops who have a gun next to their waist. At that time, I didn't speak English very well so speaking my opinion exactly was nearly impossible. Soon, I thought that if I wouldn't tell my hard situation correctly, that gun's bullett would be lodged in my head????? However, one kind police man helped me to pass this test easily. He just asked me for sumit some papers to Washington center.
Finally, I could arrive in Memphis on time safely and felt that strain was releasing. I will never forget this even forever because it helps me to grow up to be a real person.

Watching Dramas!

Have you ever watched "Dexter"?

I love watching dramas very much, but from I arrived in here, it is very difficult to me because I don't have TV in my room! If I wanna watch some dramas, I have to go to our lobby in dorm. Then I found one solution to watch drama in my room. That is my notebook! As you know, almost international student watch movies, dramas through the notebook. I really appreciate one person who made notebook! Today, I would like to introduce one drama. That name is "Dexter". It have been already telecasted until 3 season and probably, season 4 would be televise at March or April!

"Dexter" is the story about one serial killer. Dexter is the hero's name in this drama. Yes! The picture of the right is him! Dexter Morgan!!! He experienced very terrible things that is related to crime when he was a child and this experience made him a serial killer but, nobody knows his real nature. He pretend to ordinary person and he is very good at it. After he suffered that horrible thing, he was adopted by one police who found the horrible crimescene first and this police taught him to live ordinary person. And this step father found that Dexter never suppress his killer nature so he instructed the rules to him. This rules are about killing the person. For example, first, don't be catched by the police, second, killing only guilty person, and so on. For following this codes, Dexter is being a blood stain analyst and working at the police. After the being blood stain analyst, he found more path to live a serial killer. That's very irony thing. He is an catcher now and someday, he should track himself because of the crime that he made. And this element makes this drama more fun!

I think if you spend boring time now, you should find this drama in the internet and watch it! That would be the best choice you could! Iam sure about that :O and you will be waiting the next season just like me!

Korean!

Happy to meet U!

I watched the SuperBowl's final at my new friend's house. I met her through the International Program's officer. My new friend name is Christineand her job is attorney. She leaved Korea when she was a child so there are no special memory of Korea in her mind. Then. she wants to share many Korean things with us and that's why we met! Four another Korean girls and I went to the Christine's coworker's house for watching the Superbowl together.

Arrived at that house, I was very surprised because it's my first time visiting real American house. That house was really really beautiful and awesome! The house was decorated with orange lights, many kinds of sofa, couch, unique chair and happy birthday ornament(yesterday was the birthday of one man who worked with Christine).

Maybe there are 20 people in the house so we could met many kinds of people. Especially, the memory of kids remained in my mind deeply. In there, girls were very cute and kind but boys looked like a prim. Because when I granced and outstretched my arms in front of her, usually they smiled and then, ran toward me. On the contrary, if I did same thing to boys, they just turned their head, however, that behavior of boys approached me more positively! I think they were still unfamiliar with strangers. And then, I met Christine's husband and he was really really good man!!! Maybe he was very confused because of me. When I talked with him, he had to concentrate our conversation with whole his might because of my poor Enligsh skill... However, he always replied for my lots of question with his beautiful smile. I was very approciate his kindness.

I spent very happy and special time in there and I hope that our five Korean girls and Christine will make many sweet memory together! Our meeting will go on! It's going to be fun!!!!

Weather in Yahoo!

What is your start page in web?

My first page is YAHOO! because yahoo has a lot of useful skills, especially, I like 'informing the weather'section. Once you enroll certain place such as oxford, MS like me, whenever you know about the oxford's weather in this site!

I don't have a TV in my room so It's very difficult to me to know today's weather. For wearing suitable cloth to the weather of today, however, knowing of the weather is very important that's why I use YAHOO! for my start page in web! Therefore, I always check this section before wearing my cloth every morning.

Its advantages are really boundless! It informs not only tomorrow's weat her but also after 10 day's weather, too! Actually, in Korea, we don't use F° normally, we use C°! so when I just arrived in here, I was very confused about this F° weather system. Through the temperature of F°, I just guess this place's weather. Then, sometimes I wore spring clothes in very cold weather. For knowing this place's temperature exactly, I had to exchange F° with C°! However, in YAHOO!, it doesn't matter! because there is a very surprised skill in here! It is possible to exchange F° with C° automatically through just clicking C°button! It's very useful for me!
